We’re a few weeks into 2022 and it’s not too late to reflect on your growth and learning over the past year. It can fuel you for the year ahead, reminding you of your strengths, values, and resilience. You’ve got this!
Reflection Writing Practice
Give yourself time to pause, inquire, feel, write. Use a pen, a colored marker, a crayon, a digital device – whatever works for you. Respond to one or more of the prompts below. Allow and explore whatever emerges as you write. Write for yourself, not with the intention to post or polish. And always, invite compassion for yourself.
Consider These Questions
- What stood out for you last year?
- What did you do well?
- What gave you joy?
- What illuminated insight?
- How did you deal with challenges, with suffering?
- What do you want to continue (or start) cultivating and nurturing in the new year? It may be an action or it may be a feeling.
Go easy on yourself. Be kind. These past couple of years have been unlike any we’ve experienced.
