Build Resilience

Stress is a Natural Response. Learning to Work with it is a Skill.
Stress can mobilize our energy and focus, helping us respond to challenges. But when stress becomes chronic—or when we automatically react to stressful thoughts, emotions, and situations—it can affect our well-being, relationships, and ability to work effectively.
Learning to recognize the early signs of stress and respond with greater awareness and intention can build steadiness, resilience, and capacity.
Try It! A Mindful Minute
POP Stress Now™
3 Steps to Work with Stress
- Pause. Stop. Take a break from the action. Rest your attention on three cycles of breath. Follow the flow of your breath in and out.
- Observe. Notice body sensations, feelings, and thoughts. Allow what's present. Be curious and kind.
- Proceed. With intention, take the next small step. Be responsive rather than reactive. Show up.
It only takes a minute to interrupt an automatic stress reaction and create space for a more intentional response.
When you integrate POP into your day, you're practicing how to respond to stress more effectively.

About Terre Passero

Who I am and why I do this work
I’m passionate about helping people manage stress so they can work effectively, communicate clearly, and live with greater steadiness and resilience.
The #1 challenge I hear from clients is: “I don’t have enough time!”
I get it! Over the years, I’ve taught thousands of people in organizations how to work with stress in practical, accessible ways. (I’m one of them!)
My evidence-based, mindful stress management practices can be integrated into your day in seconds. For example, you receive an email that irritates you and feel the urge to react quickly. Instead, you pause, notice what’s happening, and take a few moments before responding.
That small pause can create space for a more intentional response—and more effective communication.
Cultivating practical stress management skills can help you focus, regulate emotions, build resilience, and perform at your best.
I’d welcome the opportunity to help you and your organization build these skills.
With respect,
Terre Passero
